Decoration for your student room.

If you live in a dorm like me you might face the same problem: You have a nice room but it is kind of empty and sterile. As I only stay for a short period, expensive decoration stuff I cannot carry with me after I leave is not an option. Neither do I want the mainstream photos and frames IKEA offers. So I thought about interesting alternatives to personalize my room without spending a lot of money and I found this very exciting idea: Turn trash into treasure! This seems perfect! It is pretty easy to do, so if you want to try it yourself, here you find some inspiration:

Knit-wear-vase, self-made.

Especially in Sweden you can find a lot of well designed everyday things, however, they are quite expensive sometimes. I saw knit wear vases for 100 – 300 SEK. These ones I made myself out of a pair of old socks and glasses which I found in the recycling box in our corridor.
