Probably you have already heard about Alexander Skarsgård. You haven’t?? He is one of Sweden’s most famous and certainly best looking actors.

After all, he has been elected five times as Sexiest Man in Sweden and in 2009 he was among the 100 Sexiest men alive.  No surprise, he was born in Stockholm where according to many rankings some of the most beautiful people come from.

His biggest success so far is the American vampire TV series “True blood” which started in 2008. There he stars the character ‘Eric Northman’, a vampire with a Viking background. The series claims that the true language of the vampires is Swedish and therefore there are often scenes when the actors talk in Swedish. So this is a good opportunity for you to improve your language skills while being motivated by the gorgeous accent and look of Alexander Skarsgård.

In order to be prepared we recommend you to watch this episode of Simple Swedish first as it teaches you all the vocabulary you need to know for the series.
